Requests are generally completed within 1 business day. However, the recovery process may take up tp 10 business days, depending on the completeness and accuracy of the submitted documentation. Delays may occur if additional verification is required, particularly in high value brand names.

What are the costs associated with recovering a domain through ExpanTLD?
The submission and evaluation of your process is free. Re-submissions may be charged. Recovering a domain includes a mandatory re-registration fees at market price at the moment of the request. Market prices are the prices that are shown at checkout on ExpanTLD.com that may vary depending on the domain type and length of registration selected. All fees are displayed transparently during the application process.
How can I pay the domain recovery and registration fees?
Payments can be made in multiple currencies using major credit cards, PayPal, Multicaixa, or via SEPA bank transfer to ExpanTLD’s designated IBAN. Detailed payment instructions will be provided during the recovery process.
What happens if my domain recovery request is denied?

If your recovery request is denied, ExpanTLD will provide the reasons for the denial and suggest corrective actions, if applicable. You may resubmit your application with additional documentation or clarification as needed.

Can I update my domain’s information during the recovery process?
Yes, during the recovery process, you actually must update your domain’s contact information, technical settings, and other relevant details to ensure that the domain is correctly configured and compliant with current EPP standards. What if I need to Recover a Domain after the cuttoff date of 30th September?
You can submit recovery requests until 31st December 2024. Requests after 30th September grace period will be charged.
